Taking inputs and making magic

This two page beauty can be found as the center spread of the blue book of my most recent computer engineering exam. It landed me a solid 8 out of 25 points, proving once and for all I have complete misunderstanding of computer engineering in general and should probably switch my major to physical education or something.

Class Schedule + Animals = Schedimals!

So, i'm studying for finals and i'm looking through my notes from the beginning of physics and I find these:

"Computer Engineering Catfish"

"Differential Equations Duck"

"Ethics Elephant"

"Physics Penguin"

Now, I usually doodle in class but I strongly believe these characters could make up a Pulitzer prize/Oscar winning comic strip or at least mildly successful webcomic!

Possible plot or character ideas:
  • CompE Catfish designs circuits that he can't test because he's underwater (possible irony)/discovers underwater catnip/trips balls/swims
  • Physics Penguin understands magnetism and electricity!/tries to devour CompE Catfish/swims/DOESN'T SLEEP!!!1
  • Ethics Elephant is less then ethical/wears ties sometimes/likes pie/swims?
  • Diff Eq Duck tries to model real life situations with systems of differential equations/swims/uses Laplace Transforms/fights other ducks for bread/likes pi
It's a work in progress but it could work... maybe
Oh yeah and i'd call it Schedimals!

The Goat in the Coat (circa early 2008)

Okay, so I found a "poem" I wrote in high school. Poem is in quotes because I'm not sure if this constitutes poetry. Anyway I [gladly?] present to you, THE GOAT IN THE COAT!

The goat in the coat,

The goat in the coat,

Is on the boat in the moat,

The boat in the moat

When the goat got in the boat,

The boat, the boat,

He was told he could have a coat,

A coat, a coat,

But when in the moat,

The moat, the moat,

He lost his coat,

His coat, his coat

The goat in the coat,

The goat in the coat,

Is on the boat in the moat,

The boat in the moat

“The coat”, “The coat” said the goat,

The goat, the goat,

Water in the boat!

The boat, the boat,

The goat struggles to float,

To float, to float,

The goat in the coat,

The goat in the coat,

Is on the boat in the moat,

The boat in the moat

His heavy heart he totes,

He totes, he totes,

For he morns his lost coat,

Lost coat, lost coat,

To reach the edge of the moat was his vote,

His vote, his vote,

He did not take note of the coyote,

The coyote, the coyote,

He seeked the oats,

The oats, the oats,

But the coyote hid behind the oak

The oak, the oak,

The soaked goat cleared his throat,

His throat, his thro…

The goat in the coat,

The goat in the coat,

Is on the boat in the moat,

The boat in the moat

The coyote was bloat from the goat,

The goat, the goat

Looking back, this is probably neither child nor adult appropriate so I don't really know what target audience I was going for. I don't even think the assignment was goat related, I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a spiritual... but I definitely got an A on it so I guess it was either an awesome spiritual or my teacher loved(or possibly hated) goats.

Update!: This actually probably caused my teacher to believe I was either mentally handicapped or unable to speak proper English, resulting in a pity A!

Starting a blog?

The concept of a blog seems strange and kind of hipster-ish (would be perfect for Peter) but It may be fun to post ramblings... so yeah blog!

Update!: Peter started a blog!

Update!!: Added Comp Sci penguin to make the post look fuller

Update!!!: I'm not sure if 'fuller' is a word... pretend I said, "more full"
